Nation of Heat - Joe Pug
I made a mix of 25 Songs That Rocked My World in 2011 (it was originally going to be 35 but the file was too big). But I’m having some issues with the upload. So I’ll probably try again tomorrow, and then I’ll make it available for your download & listening pleasure. But in the meantime here is one of the songs on my mix. After I made the mix I realized that the EP (Nation of Heat) that this is from is from 2008. But it was made available for download through Noise Trade in 2011. So I’ll probably delete it from my mix. But Joe Pug and this EP (I now have to get around to listening to the rest of his catalog) was one of the best musical discoveries of 2011. This song should be a modern day folk classic. It is definitely relevant to all of the events of the past year.
